Thurman’s Lords and Ladies (TLL) Puppy Contract
-All deposits are non-refundable. Buyer will forfeit his/her deposit if they should change their minds, back out, decide they do not want the dog or does not pay in full and pick the dog up by the day it turns 10 weeks old unless prior agreement has been arranged and documented.
Should buyer fail to pay out or decide not to buy, the deposits will be forwarded to the next available litter or it will be forfeited.
A deposit of $_______.00 was made on Date: _________ and the cash balance is due to the seller before said dog is placed in the buyer’s possession. The buyer understands once the deposit is made it is a commitment to buy said dog and therefore is NON_REFUNDABLE AND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. ___________int.
-Should buyer decide after purchasing, that he/she no longer wants the dog/puppy, it must first be offered back to Thurman’s Lords and Ladies (TLL) in writing for a reasonable price no more than 75% of the original purchase price.
-At the time of purchase, Thurman’s Lords and Ladies (TLL) will provide a record of current vaccinations and wormings. Seller guarantees this dog is free from any communicable diseases as appears to the eye at the time of the sale. At the expense of the BUYER, this dog must be examined by a LICENSED VETERINARIAN within 24 hours after purchase. The time limit is because of those who purchase a dog and then take the dog in to places where communicable diseases are present. _______int.
-Buyer agrees to notify Thurman’s Lords and Ladies (TLL) if the puppy/dog is to be sold, given away, stolen, lost, deceased or move to a new location. Any subsequent owners must agree to and sign a new puppy contract from Thurman’s Lords and Ladies (TLL). Buyer agrees to socialize puppy/dog and keep it in good, clean, healthy living conditions. BUYER AGREES PUPPY IS NOT PURCHASED FOR ANY INHUMANE PURPOSES SUCH AS PITTING, FIGHTING OR HARMING LIFE OF PEOPLE OR ANIMALS IN ANY WAY. This puppy is sold for Show___ Sanctioned competition____ Family companion___ (Buyer must pick one)
- We strongly encourage spaying and neutering puppies that will be family companions, however dog will be bred at TLL at 2 years old or second heat. We suggest health testing (OFA) before breeding._____int.
- The A.D.B.A./U.K.C. registered name of the dog will be **TLL**. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES shall the name ever be changed on the A.D.B.A./U.K.C. registration certificate. Simply meaning whatever name the buyer chooses to use will be preceded on the registration certificate by **TLL**.__________int.
-Thurman’s Lords and Ladies (TLL) reserves 1 free stud service on all males and suggest our males for stud.
**Should any of the terms of this agreement be breeched, ownership of the dog/puppy will revert back to Thurman’s Lords and Ladies (TLL) at our discretion. As a Thurman’s Lords and Ladies (TLL) option, we may confiscate the dog/puppy without any compensation to the buyer if the puppy is considered in danger or a danger to society.
